Country: USA

Region: Kentucky

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 40%

Score: 92 Points

This Bourbon from Jim Beam uses brown rice in the mashbill, along with a complex combination of toasted and charred oak barrels. The nose has notes of freshly roasted coffee beans, vanilla pods, Manuka honey, and hints of spice. The taste is best described by the name: toasty. It’s spicy with a nice toasted oak character along with touches of butterscotch, vanilla pods, coffee beans, and black tea with honey. The finish is long and warming. (August, 2021)
