Ballantine's The Glenburgie Single Malt. Image courtesy Chivas Brothers Pernod Ricard.Glenburgie’s single malt whisky has been a key element in the Ballantine’s blends for many years, but has rarely been released as a single malt until now. This is one of the first bottlings in the Ballantine’s Single Malt Series, and is a 15-year-old single malt. The nose is fruity and floral with red apples, hints of pears and peaches, honey, and fresh berries. The nose is fruity and vibrant with notes of apple pie, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and honey. The finish is long and fruity with lingering spices in the background. Very nice! (October, 2017)
