The nose is very sweet with notes of caramel ice cream topping, fudge, muted spices, honey, and a hint of brown sugar. The taste is spicy with notes of clove, chili powder, and jalapeño peppers that fade quickly to reveal sweeter touches of fudge, caramel ice cream topping, oak, and a hint of peaches. The finish is short, dry, and sweet. (February, 2015)
