Armorik Triagoz French Single Malt Whisky. Image courtesy Distillerie Warenghem. This is Armorik’s first peated whisky, and was produced to mark the 20th anniversary of Distillerie Warenghem in France’s Brittany region. The lightly peated single malt has hints of smoke on the nose, along with a nice maltiness, citrus fruits, and vanilla. The taste starts off light and fruity at first with a citrusy tartness, followed by smokiness and spicy touches that develop slowly with hints of grilled pineapple complemented by honey and vanilla in the background. The finish lingers nicely with a subtle tartness. (May, 2019)
