ABV: 50.9%

This 2023 Ardbeg whisky was finished in a combination of double charred oak casks, PX Sherry casks, and special “barbecue-grilled” casks. The nose has touches of peat smoke, honey, and tangy barbecue sauce. The taste is smoky and peppery with notes of white pepper, cardamom, and chili powder that fade to reveal grilled fruits, honey, and a hint of cocoa. The finish is long and aromatic with gentle peat smoke, grilled fruits, and lingering spices. Excellent! (June, 2023)
