This is the debut whisky for Dixon Dedman’s new 2XO Whiskey brand, and Dedman took his blend and finished it in new charred oak barrels. The nose has touches of caramel, vanilla, honey, and a hint of toasted oak. The taste has notes of caramel, vanilla beans, red apples, a hint of orange peel, and subtle spices. The finish has touches of white pepper and chili powder on top of caramel candy and vanilla sweetness. (December, 2022)
