This single malt is made using peated Scottish barley and matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. The nose has notes of grilled fruits, brown sugar, nice smokiness, and a hint of charred oak. The taste has a nice balance of peat smoke, fresh berries, honey, dark chocolate, and a hint of barley sugar. The finish is long, smoky, and well-balanced. (February, 2021)
