Talisker Distiller’s Edition 2011

Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 45.8%

Score: 93 Points

This edition was finished in Amoroso casks, and the nose has a subtle peatiness, allspice, honey, oak, dried flowers, and figs. The taste is smoky and peaty like a classic Talisker should be, with an underlying sweetness of caramel syrup, molasses, and a nice buttery touch. The finish has smoky and sweet notes in great balance.
