Springbank Madeira Finish

Country: Scotland

Region: Campbeltown

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 55%

Score: 91 Points

This malt spent 11 years in Madeira casks, which give it a light and creamy nose. The wine influence lends a tartness on the taste, and it’s more astringent than other Springbank expressions. It’s syrupy and thick on the tongue, but smoothes out nicely with a few drops of water. The finish is tingly and lingering!
