This limited-edition 26-year-old Glenmorangie is finished in Truffle Oak casks from Germany’s Black Forest. The nose has touches of baked orange, tropical fruits, honeycomb, vanilla beans, and hints of figs, dates, and plums. The taste is spicy with clove, white pepper, and cardamom, baked oranges in the background along with brown sugar, honeycomb, and dried flowers. Water opens up a touch of cigar box, barley sugar, and stone fruits. The finish is very long and spicy with hints of orange and tropical fruits. Excellent! (August, 2022)
