The Midnight Silkie is a peated Irish single malt finished in a combination of Virgin Oak and Imperial Stout beer casks. The nose is smoky with touches of dried fruits, black tea and honey. The taste starts out with campfire smoke balanced by black tea with honey, hints of lemon zest, peaches, and pears, and a touch of chocolate. The finish is long and mouth-coating with a delicate smokiness and hints of sandalwood and dried fruits. (September, 2022)
