Tamdhu Cigar Malt

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 53.8%

Score: 93 Points

This single malt from Tamdhu is designed to be paired with a cigar, but non-smokers will enjoy it, too. The use of first-fill European Oak Sherry casks gives it a nose of toffee, honey, and figs, while the taste starts off with a toffee sweetness balanced by a soft oakiness and touches of honey, figs, dates, and orange peel. The finish turns spicy with a hit of white pepper complementing the toffee sweetness. Very nice. (October, 2022)
