Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Dunphail Distillery

ABV: 60.3%

Score: 90 Points

This independent bottling by Dunphail Distillery comes from an unnamed Orkney distillery (Highland Park), and is 17 years old. The nose has notes of peat smoke and creosote balanced by heather, honey, and fresh berries. The taste is peaty and peppery with heather, honey, and licorice notes underneath. The finish is long and smoky. (October, 2022)
