Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 41.9%

Score: 95 Points

This Glenglassaugh single malt was matured for 46 years in an ex-Bourbon cask, and the nose has tropical fruits with mango, papaya, and cooked bananas along with subtle spices and a hint of oak. The taste has fruity tropical notes of mango and papaya with a nice bite of cinnamon that fades to reveal banana and honey notes. The finish is long and fruity with a lingering touch of cinnamon.
