This Carpathian single malt started out in ex-Bourbon barrels, then was transferred to Feteascā Negrā Romanian wine casks. The nose is woody with a hint of anise, stone fruits, honey, and barley sugar. The taste has notes of plums, apricots, raisins, subtle spices, honey, and a hint of oak tannins. The finish is long with dark fruits and subtle spices.
