Country: Canada

Region: Alberta

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 56.9%

Score: 92 Points

This Alberta single malt is based on Troubled Monk’s Pesky Pig Pale Ale, and uses Munich malt in the mashbill. It won a gold medal in the 2023 Canadian Whisky Awards, and the nose is full of barley sugar, butterscotch, and honey. The taste is spicy with white pepper and a hint of chili powder, along with barley sugar, dried fruits, honey, and vanilla in the background. The finish is long and dry with lingering spices.
