This limited-edition release from Virginia’s Catoctin Creek Distilling is a bottled in bond 100% rye whiskey, and the nose has touches of nectarines, baking spices, sandalwood, honey, and a hint of tobacco. The taste has notes of peaches, nectarines, clove, cinnamon, white pepper, and a hint of pipe tobacco that fade quickly to a subtle dry and nutty finish.
