Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 60.3%

Score: 92 Points

This 15-year-old Strathisla cask-strength bottling was bottled by the distillery exclusively for The Whisky Exchange, and spent its entire maturation in an ex-Bourbon barrel. The nose is dusty and malty, with a hint of dried flowers. The taste is peppery with a nice touch of citrus, barley sugar, dried flowers, and a hint of anise. The finish is long and tongue-tingling with lingering spice and citrus tartness.
