Country: Scotland

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43.5%

Score: 95 Points

This limited annual release comes from a combination of 13 ex-Bourbon and Port wine casks, 11 of which held peated malt from BenRiach’s floor maltings. The nose has notes of cooked fruits, toffee, red grapes, honey, and a subtle smokiness. The taste has touches of tropical fruits, green apples, milk chocolate, honey, and toffee. The finish has lingering tropical fruits with a gentle warm smokiness that fills the throat. Very nice!
