House of Hazelwood “The Old Confectioners”

House of Hazelwood

Country: Scotland

Region:

Type: Blended Malt

Bottler: House of Hazelwood

ABV: 46.3%

Score: 96 Points

This blended malt Scotch Whisky from the House of Hazelwood’s Charles Gordon collection is reminiscent of an old-time candy shop, with a nose full of candied orange slices, aniseed, brown sugar, and touches of oak and old leather. The taste has notes of licorice, toffee, chocolate, candied orange slices, and oak tannins. The finish is long, tongue-tingling, and decadent. Outstanding!
