Country: USA

Region:

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Coors Whiskey Co.

ABV: 46%

Score: 90 Points

This blend of straight Bourbons from the Coors Whiskey Co. was created in conjunction with master taster Peggy Noe Stevens. It gets its name from Barmen, Germany, the ancestral home of the Coors family, and 1873 was the year the Coors Brewing Company was founded. The nose has classic Bourbon notes of caramel, vanilla, leather, dried fruits, and a slightly dusty character. The taste is thick and chewy with wood spices, oak, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and spicy.
