Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 50%

Score: 93 Points

This whisky was distilled from barley grown using biodynamic farming practices, and is the first Irish Whiskey of its type. The nose is earthy, musty, and meaty with touches of sautéed mushrooms, dried leaves, hints of honey and linseed oil, and a great maltiness. The taste is earthy and musty with linseed oil, lemon zest, touches of clove and cardamom spices, and barley sugar. The finish is long and tart with an underlying earthiness. A very unique whisky!
