If you like Cragganmore single malt, you’ll enjoy this blended Scotch, since Cragganmore is the “fingerprint” malt that goes into the Grand Old Parr 18 blending recipe. The nose has notes of caramel, apples, toasted coconut, soft oak, butterscotch, and apricots. The taste has caramel, oak tannins, dried fruits, subtle spices, toasted coconut, and vanilla. The finish is long with touches of dried fruits, caramel, and oak. (February, 2022)
