This single hogshead cask was bottled after 7 years, and the nose has a nice peatiness along with hints of creosote and tar, heather, and a touch of citrus. The taste is peaty and phenolic with a nice pepperiness and hints of lemon, brine, and heather in the background. The finish is long and smoky with a light tartness. (February, 2022)
