Bottler: Limestone Branch Distillery

ABV: 50.5%

This release blends 7-year-old Bourbon finished in Amazon casks with some 15-year-old Bourbon, and the nose has notes of charred oak, toasted caramel, cocoa, honey, and soft spices. The taste is thick, chewy, and spicy, but with a well-balanced touch of sweeter notes as butterscotch, vanilla, and cocoa complement black pepper and cinnamon notes nicely. Hints of pipe tobacco and leather in the background add complexity. The finish is long, complex, and well-balanced. (September, 2021)
