Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46.5%

Score: 94 Points

This Irish single malt is matured exclusively in Port wine casks, and the nose has touches of orange marmalade, crystallized ginger, honey, butterscotch, and a hint of fresh berries. The taste has a thick and oily mouthfeel with touches of spice balanced by fresh berries, dark chocolate, dates, figs, and a subtle hint of oak. The finish is long and subtle with touches of dates, figs, dark chocolate, and crystallized ginger. Excellent! (December, 2021)
