Country: USA

Region: Tennessee

Type: Tennessee Whiskey

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 45%

Score: 89 Points

This whiskey comes from what’s been known as the Tenn South Distillery in Lynnville, Tennessee, which has recently been acquired by the Big Machine Group and renamed as the Big Machine Distillery (along with its satellite brewery/distillery and a tavern in Nashville). It’s a 2-year-old Tennessee Whiskey, and the nose has touches of caramel, honey, subtle spices, and a hint of oak. The taste is nice and sweet with notes of honey, toasted caramel, a hint of red apples, cocoa, and a subtle touch of black pepper. The finish is long with just a touch of spice. (July, 2021)
