Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 47%

Score: 93 Points

Stauning Distillery in Denmark has its own floor maltings, and smoked the barley for this whisky with locally sourced peat and heather. The nose has a soft smokiness balanced by touches of honey, barley sugar, citrus fruits, and roasted nuts. The taste is smoky and peppery with a nice balance of honey, lemon pepper, citrus Frits, and oak in the background. The finish is long and well-balanced. (June, 2021)
