The Celt Irish Whiskey

Country: Ireland

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Celtic Whiskey Shop

ABV: 46%

Score: 91 Points

The Celt Irish Whiskey. Image courtesy Celtic Whiskey Shop. This whiskey comes from Ally Alpine and his team at the Celtic Whiskey Shop in Dublin, and is a sherry cask-finished single malt from an undisclosed Irish distillery. The nose is warm and inviting with touches of dates, plums, raisins, and toasted caramel. The taste has a strong Sherry influence with notes of plums, figs, toffee, raisins, and a hint of molasses. The finish is long and sherried. A unique take on Irish single malts! (October, 2020)
