Westward Pinot Noir Cask Finish. Image courtesy Westward Whiskey/House Spirits. This American Single Malt is finished in Pinot Noir casks from Oregon’s Suzor Wines, and the nose is well-balanced with a nice fruity character and notes of red grapes, apricots, a touch of mint leaves, honey, and caramel candy. The taste is fruity and tart with apricots, plums, hints of figs and raisins, subtle spices, mint leaves, honey. The finish is long and fruity with a slightly astringent character. Very nice.
