Photo ©2020, Mark Gillespie/CaskStrength Media. This Australian single malt was distilled in 2012 at the old Southern Coast Distillery and finished for 2 years in a French Oak Port cask. The nose has notes of cherry pie, nutmeg, fresh berries, and hints of oak and pipe tobacco. The taste is thick and chewy with dark fruits, black cherries, a hint of oak tannins, and subtle spices in the background. The finish is long and oaky with dark fruits and a hint of spice.
