Sullivan's Cove Apera Single Cask #TD263. Photo ©2019, Mark Gillespie/CaskStrength Media.Apera is Australia’s native version of Sherry, and this Tasmanian single malt was matured in a French Oak ex-Apera wine cask. The nose has notes of toffee, honey, toasted caramel, and a hint of apple pie. The taste is fruity and sweet with red apples, toffee, a burst of allspice, and a hint of toasted coconut. The finish is long and delicate with hints of coconut, red apples, and toffee. (August, 2019)
