Brenne 10 Years Old French Single Malt Whisky. Photo courtesy Local Infusions, LLC.This 10-year-old French single malt from the Cognac region is finished in ex-Cognac casks, and the nose on the 2017 vintage release is fruity and luscious with hints of orange marmalade, apricots, peaches, and touches of raspberries. The taste is thick, syrupy, and nectar-like with good baking spices balanced by fruity notes of orange marmalade, apricots, fresh berries, and peaches. The finish is long with a good balance of fruits and lingering spices, and this is the best Brenne expression yet! (December, 2018)
