Connoisseur’s Choice Craigellachie 15 Years Old

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail

ABV: 40%

Score: 89 Points

This Gordon & MacPhail bottling was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 1989, and has a dry, subtle nose with notes of honey, malt, dried fruits, a hint of dried flowers, and a slight touch of sulphur. The taste starts off with a lemon zest tartness at first, then turns peppery with a good balance of honey, vanilla, apricots, and peaches complementing the spices. The finish is long and fruity.
