Douglas Laing Provenance Glentauchers 2007. Image courtesy Douglas Laing & Co.This single cask bottling came from an ex-Sherry butt filled in 2007, and the nose has notes of baked oranges, a touch of malt, cinnamon, allspice, and a gentle oakiness. The taste is thick and oily with a good pepperiness, orange peel, dried fruits, and ginger. The finish lingers well with a nice tartness and dried fruits. Very nice! (September, 2017)
