Glen Deveron 30. Image courtesy Dewar's/Glen Deveron. Glen Deveron is the name given to single malts from the Dewar’s-owned Macduff Distillery, and this sherry cask-finished expression is part of the Royal Burgh collection available exclusively at World Duty Free’s World of Whiskies stores in the UK and Spain (thanks to the staff at the Heathrow Terminal 5 location for making a sample available).

The nose is rich with notes of coriander, cardamom, and vanilla spices balanced by honey, coconut, and vanilla notes with a touch of citrus fruits. The taste is complex and well-balanced with eucalyptus, spearmint, vanilla, coconut, mango, passion fruit, orange oils, and a touch of maltiness. The finish is long and mouth-wateringly juicy with lingering tropical fruits and a subtle coriander and cardamom spicy touch. Outstanding! (October, 2014)
